Strategy
Stop buying prescriptions for the wrong problem. Most businesses fix the loudest thing. We find the actual bottleneck, price it, and sequence the work against your real budget. We tell you what’s actually broken.
What Strategy covers
Strategy is directive. It decides which game to play, which lever to pull first, which sequence creates leverage, and how Brand, Growth, and Systems reinforce or constrain each other. It’s the work that answers the first question anyone should ask before writing a brief: where is the actual bottleneck in this business, and which investment pays back first?
If customers can’t tell who you are, no amount of ads will fix it; you need Brand. If customers can’t find you, or find you but don’t convert, a pretty brand won’t save you; you need Growth. If the software is broken or slow, or the team is stuck on manual work, that’s Systems.
Strategy is the diagnosis. Brand, Growth, and Systems are the prescriptions. We sell the diagnosis as its own service line because most businesses we meet are buying prescriptions for the wrong problem – and we also run Strategy as a posture through every Brand / Growth / Systems engagement at a premium rate, so no project lacks strategic direction.
The AI shift in how we diagnose
Strategy work is cheaper to do well than it’s ever been. The research phase of an audit that used to take two weeks takes days. Competitive analysis that used to require sampling now covers the whole market. The synthesis still needs a senior person, but they get to spend more time on the synthesis and less on the gathering.
What that means for a project with us
Better diagnoses, faster
AI accelerates the research layer of every audit we run. The output document doesn’t come from a chatbot, but the raw material that built it was gathered an order of magnitude faster than it would have been three years ago.
AI readiness isn’t a trend – it’s a capacity question
Where can AI and automation create leverage in your business this year? That’s the AI Readiness Assessment (below). Most of the answer is unglamorous: a Zapier workflow, a better knowledge base, a narrow agent with a clear job.
Strategy at smaller budgets
Work that used to require a €30k six-week engagement can now run at a fraction of that cost, for smaller businesses who couldn’t afford strategy work at all before.
Roadmaps that stay current
The 12-month plan is no longer a PDF that ages quietly on a shared drive. It’s a live document we refresh against real signals – yours and the market’s.
What AI doesn’t change. The judgment about which problem matters most. The read of internal politics that decides which recommendation actually ships. The taste call that says this is the right answer, not the defensible one. Those are the parts we charge for.
What we do
The Digital Audit
We tell you what’s actually broken.
A structured diagnostic scan of your digital stack across all four pillars – brand, digital, software, infrastructure – with findings prioritized by impact and cost. Output is a decision document, not a dump. We tell you what to fix first, what to fix next, and what to ignore. Two tiers:
- Free audit (30-minute call): a fast look at what you’re running and where it’s likely leaking. You leave with a concrete diagnosis, not a proposal. Half the time that’s all you need; the other half, it’s how you decide whether the Full digital audit is worth doing.
- Full digital audit (2 to 5 weeks, fixed price): the deep diagnostic audit. Single-pillar scope or all four; findings report and 12-month roadmap.
We cover:
- 01 . Brand audit
- 02 . Digital presence audit
- 03 . Website & technical audit
- 04 . Infrastructure & tooling audit
- 05 . Competitive positioning audit
- 06 . Prioritised findings report
- 07 . 12-month roadmap
Brand Positioning Strategy
Sharpen who you are and who you’re for.
Target audience, promise, differentiation. The work that makes all four pillars point the same direction instead of pulling against each other. Often the entry point for businesses whose brand has quietly drifted while the business changed around it.
We cover:
- 01 . Market positioning review
- 02 . Target audience refinement
- 03 . Value proposition sharpening
- 04 . Competitive differentiation
- 05 . Messaging framework
- 06 . Archetype & tone of voice
AI Readiness Assessment
Where AI earns its keep in your business today.
Not “AI strategy” in the abstract – a concrete, ranked list of processes where AI or automation can create leverage now, what they’ll cost, and which to start with. Math first, branding second.
We cover:
- 01 . Process mapping
- 02 . Automation-candidate shortlisting
- 03 . Tool selection (LLM, workflow, RAG)
- 04 . ROI modelling
- 05 . Phased implementation plan
- 06 . Risk & governance review
Growth Roadmapping
A sequence, not a wishlist.
A 12 to 24-month plan across all four pillars, sequenced so each investment compounds the next: creative work that makes marketing cheaper, marketing that feeds the data that makes software smarter, software that feeds the infrastructure that frees the team to do the next thing. Built as a real-budget plan, not an aspirational deck.
We cover:
- 01 . Multi-pillar roadmap
- 02 . Budget allocation
- 03 . KPI framework
- 04 . Quarterly milestone plan
- 05 . Resource & team recommendations
- 06 . Risk mitigation
Where is the actual bottleneck in your business?
Book a 30-minute audit. We’ll ask better questions than most agencies do, and we’ll tell you honestly whether what you need is a strategy engagement or one of Brand, Growth, or Systems. No up-sell. No proposal you didn’t ask for.
